Return of the King

20 10 2010

In 1954 something happened that would change the world of Cinema. A film arrived, a film that would receive attention from all over the world. A film that would be the first in a long series, a series that has been going on for 55 years and counting. Over the course of 55 years and 29 films. Now that film series is returning to the world-wide shores. It is the Best film series in the world. It’s name is well-known, Well known for its main star. He is the King of the Monsters, GODZILLA.

Godzilla 2014 (Legendary Pictures - 2014)

Yes in 2012 the King Returns in an all new film. Forget the Godzilla film from 1998 because that was not the true Godzilla (that was Zilla, He is nothing like the real Godzilla).

(I did not know that the Trailer had a toy advert in it when I posted it up)

Announced in March 2010 Legendary Pictures has been given approval by TOHO Pictures (the owners of Godzilla) to make an all new film Starring the King of the Monsters. Legendary Pictures have announced that it will be a Live Action film with a Computer Generated Godzilla, They have also said that it will be a True Representation of the King of the Monsters. Godzilla will also use his Atomic Death Ray that he uses in the films (unlike the 1998 one where he doesn’t use it at all). “Our plans are to produce the Godzilla that we, as fans, would want to see. We intend to do justice to those essential elements that have allowed this character to remain as pop culturally relevant for as long as it has.” Thomas Tull, Chairman and CEO of Legendary Pictures (Wikipedia).

I cannot wait for this, Many films are coming out in 2012 including Batman 3. But If I had a choice of which film to see, Either Batman 3 or Godzilla, I would choose Godzilla.

Off-Topic: I played Blood Bowl Today. I havent played that game in years, and for the first time I scored a Touchdown.
