MCA – Monster Combat Alliance – Heated Debate

29 08 2012

After all the fun I had with the King of The Monsters Tournament I have decided to turn Monster Combat into a regular feature. So I officially start the Monster Combat Alliance. The Number 1 place for Monster Fights on the World Wide Web.

The Rules for our matches will follow the same rules structure as the King of the Monsters Tournament (A Match will contain several fights with Dice Rolls) but with one new rule. If a 1 is rolled in the first fight by any monster, it is re-rolled. I will publish a full rule set on the New Page for the MCA soon.

Enough of all this, let the games begin. Tonight we have some amazing matches to kick-start this new enterprise. Tonight we begin our search for the first MCA World Champion. A tournament will take place in December with 8 Monsters and tonight sees the first place taken in a heated debate. A few weeks ago Mothra was bragging around her victory status of defeating Godzilla the most times, The Mechagodzilla’s were not happy. They put down the point that they have all one way or another come close to killing Godzilla. This confrontation started to get out of hand with Mothra and Kiryu almost throwing punches (or wings in the case of Mothra). So it has been decided to sort this out once and for all. Kiryu will be representing the Mecha-Godzilla’s as he takes on Mothra in tonight’s main-event. The winner of the match will gain the first spot in the World Championship Tournament in December.

Tonight we also have a grudge match. During the KOTM Tournament Godzilla got frustrated after going out in round 1 and attacked The Kraken. The Kraken has healed and wants revenge, The Kraken vs Godzilla Tonight. We also have the first round in a three match series with a place in the World Title Tournament at stake as Anguiras takes on Rhedosaurus (The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms). These matches plus more tonight, but our first match needs to be big one, and it is. The first KOTM Champion Rodan will be going one on one with Desghidorah in a 5 fight match, Rodan goes first. Let the destruction begin.

Check it out, Rodan must still be recovering from the tournament as it could not bring on enough strength to defeat the Death Ghidorah, Desghidorah Wins.

Our Next Match is another 5 Fight Match. This match is a fight between one of our Biggest Fighters and a human fighter as The DeathSaurer takes on Ultraman, Ultraman goes first.

Ultraman Wins, being in the tournament must count for something as one of the high scoring qualifiers wins this round against a monster I forget to include in the Tournament.

Now we move on to tonight’s Grudge Match, what a match this should be as two cinema icons face each other. Godzilla vs The Kraken, The Kraken goes first in a 7 fight Match.

Godzilla 1954 - Present

All that anger against his attacker proved Nothing as Godzilla rampaged to victory, maybe The Kraken should have taken the beating like a loser and forget about the whole thing. Godzilla Wins.

Now we move onto the first match in our three match 5 fights series with a place in the World Title Tournament at stake. Rhedosaurus vs Anguiras, Rhedosaurus goes first.

Anguiras wins the first match in the series. Not much of a hectic match but these fights count for nothing in the series, only in the matches themselves. This time Anguiras wins, join us again next month for match number 2, Will Anguiras have a clean sweep or will The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms bring it to a draw.

Now we move on the our final match with a big prize at stake. But this is more than just a shot at the title. This is to see which of these 2 are the best. Mothra started the Argument, will she finish it or will Kiryu almost kill her like he has done in the past to Godzilla. This will be a 9 fight match. Mothra vs Kiryu, Mothra goes first.

Mecha-Godzilla 1974 - Present

Kiryu Wins, An evenly sided match but Kiryu walks away supreme. Not only is Kiryu now the better of the 2 he also cements the reputation of all Mecha-Godzilla’s previous to him as well as proving the power of robots vs moths. He goes through as the first entry into the World Title Tournament. Question is will Mothra Keep this down and will the other Mecha- Godzilla’s rebel at the prospect of Kiryu getting a title shot and not them. Who Knows? Congratulations Kiryu, see you soon.

Come Back Next Month for the next round in the three match series as well as many more matches including a match between two Death Monsters as Desghidorah takes on The DeathSaurer. Take care and watch out.

I am liking Desghidorah at the moment. If he continues to impress me he will have a place in the World Title Tournament.

Who do you think should have a place?

have you considered including the Sarlacc from Return of the Jedi? i’m not sure whether that’d work… just a thought.

Seeing as it cannot move I doubt it would work, I will consider the Rancor though.

i like the rancor idea. should have thought of that myself. that, or the ice monster out of Empire Strikes Back. or both.

Rancor would have the size but the Wampa would have the ferocity, perhaps a Tag Team there.

[…] Last month we had an amazing show. Part 1 of a 3 part series for a place in the world title tournament between Anguiras and Rhedosaurus.  An amazing debut by Desghidorah defeating The King Of The Monsters Champion Rodan. And of course the big showdown between Mothra and Kiryu with Kiryu securing a place in the World Title Series. […]
