Your Choice: The Sequel, A Little Help

21 03 2011

Some people have told me that it is hard to choose between the films in the new poll. Someone asked me to give a brief description of the choices available.

The Host: South Korean Monster Movie Film. It is a film about a Giant Monster in the river who kidnaps a member of the family in the film.

Reign of Fire: Post Apocalyptic film starring Christian Bale and Gerard Butler. The film centres around a group of survivors who are trying survive in a world where Dragons have re-awakened and taken over the world.

Cloverfield: Created by the man who made the recent Star Trek Film and Creator of Lost. The film follows a group of people in the middle of a disaster and document what happens using their Video Camera.

Dragon Wars: South Korean Monster Movie about Dragons in a modern-day setting (I don’t know much about it, the title might be a clue).

Gamera 3: The Awakening of Irys: Third film in the Heisei Gamera Series. Gamera the Giant Flying Turtle returns to save the world from lots of Flying Pterosaur like creatures and one Gigantic Monster called Irys.

Godzilla vs Space Godzilla: The 21st Godzilla Film features Godzilla fighting a Space Clone of Godzilla.

Godzilla Against Mecha-Godzilla: The 26th Godzilla Film features Godzilla fighting Mecha-Godzilla, This is Mecha-Godzilla’s 4th appearance in the series and is one of my top favourite films.

So there is a much more in-depth look at the choices. Dont forget you can choose 2 films (Select 2 films then press the vote button) and the vote closes 30th April 2011. So Don’t forget to vote and check back soon to see which films wins.

Why Did It Win So Many Awards? – Slumdog Millionaire « Numb3r5s's Blog

[…] Overall this film is quite Dull, not much happens in it and it does have a few (subtitles) problems but the music makes up for it. You can get into this film a bit but the most enjoyable part is the credits rolling because that is when the film ends. It may depend on what you like in a film but there were a lot of better films in 2008 (Iron Man, Cloverfield, Tropic Thunder, 10,000 BC, Meet the Spartans, Quantum of Solace and The Dark Knight) that should have got the awards for things like Best Picture. Overall it is not a bad film, it is a dull film. Maybe next time I do a film poll I will fill it with films I actually like, I have done that once before. […]
